Requirements for Change|blue
Remember - Before we will accept any client we must know that they are committed to recapturing these lost revenues, and if required, pursuing an uncompromising legal collection process. These points are key to the project's success.
Bush-Waterhouse Communications' on-site consulting and training programs for our clients improve the profitability and performance of the cable, satellite and telecommunications industries by increasing the awareness of their people, facilitating a Human Resources training program, and developing and implementing systems and procedures to improve efficiency. Our consultants will conduct Cable Theft Seminars and Management Training nationwide, as well as provide developed and written Theft of Service Procedure Manuals.
Our Role|blue
Our role, for our clients includes identifying, converting and retaining unauthorized subscribers/customers.
Your initial role is to change the way you think about your business. Cable and satellite company leaders need to revise existing cultures within their respective organizations.
The Industry's Roles|red
Specifically, the industry needs to:
- Eliminate the errors in judgement that lead to piracy and other operational failures.
- Initiate accountability by the GM of each system (performance management). First and foremost, GM accountability.
- Quantify the Problem - Review Operational Standards/Procedures/Hiring Practices and Implement Remedies.
- Alter their employees' attitudes toward Theft of Service.
- Allow BWC to convert all "unauthorized accounts" to Paying Customers. Increase customer growth by creating special system monitoring procedures in conjunction with BWC.
- Enlist the broadest possible cooperation of all employees. Spend time for funding the issues of loss prevention. Every client will have someone on their "theft of service" team responsible for loss prevention who will liaise directly with BWC on a regular basis.
- Internal and external campaigns to heighten awareness and change consumer perception.
The Service Providers' Role - Part One:|red
- Each system must implement a functional audit program and it MUST support legal efforts made on behalf of the client by BWC.
- Understanding the training requirements to prepare your staff
- Informing your entire staff of the role they will play in the new Risk Management strategies and their role in your relationship with Bush-Waterhouse Communications
Part Two:|red
- Understanding the new operational processes you will have to implement
- Examining how your old data capture processes will be integrated into new technologies
- Understanding the effect our technology will have on your Customer Management strategy
- Implementing a complete tactical revue
- Implementing a logical, step-by-step, blueprint for your entire process
- Engage future preventive strategies vs. enforcement.
If all of the above requirements for change are implemented, the majority of all piracy issues can be controlled.
